White Bean Soup

2 cups white kidney bean or navy beans

2 cups low sodium chicken broth

1 med. onion minced coarsely

2 tbsp Briggs True Texas Seasoning or Briggs True Texas Chili Mix

1 tbsp Briggs True Houston Hot Sauce


1Drain the beans and rinse thoroughly

2Combine all the ingredients in a 4 qt pot

3Heat to simmer about 8 minutes

4Turn heat down and simmer another 7 minutes

5Allow beans to sit for 5 minutes

6(With an Immersion Blender) Blend the beans into a chunky puree by pulsing the blender
