Ingredients

  • ½ cup Zesty Italian Dressing
  • 1 tbsp. Briggs TRUE Chili Mix
  • 1-1/2 lb.  boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into thin strips
  • 1 red onion, slivered
  • 1 green pepper, cut into strips
  • 1-1/2 cups  instant white rice, uncooked
  • 1 cup  water
  • ½ cup  Briggs TRUE HOUSTON HOT Sauce
  • 1 cup  Mexican Style Finely Shredded Four Cheese

Instructions

  • 1. MIX dressing and Briggs TRUE Chili Mix until blended. Heat half in large skillet on medium heat. Add chicken; cook and stir 8 to 10 min. or until done.
  • 2. ADD vegetables and remaining dressing; cook and stir 2 to 4 min. or until vegetables are crisp-tender.
  • 3. STIR in rice and water; bring to boil. Add sauce; mix well. Top with cheese.
  • 4. REMOVE from heat; cover. Let stand 5 min.
  • 5. TIPS:
  • 6. SUBSTITUTE - Prepare using boneless beef strips or uncooked cleaned shrimp.
  • 7. SPECIAL EXTRA - Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro. Serve with lime wedges.
